The best Belgian hot chocolate I've ever had. Everything was so damn good I had to visit the same place twice in a day. The ambience is warm and cosy. This place is a hug to your soul! Loved the experience ❤️

Cozy place, nice ambiance, great food. Mango cheesecake and Hapus Tres Leches was too good. Highly recommend. We tried the seasonal mango desserts multiple times; it was just that good.

The Belgian hot chocolate was really good. The brownie with ice cream was also nice. Everything was realOMG, I just had the most amazing hot chocolate! It was so rich and creamy, definitely the best I've had in ages. And don't even get me started on the brownie I had with it. It was warm and gooey, the perfect complement to the cold ice cream. Seriously, everything about that dessert was spot on. It made for such a perfect treat. I'm already planning my next visit just for that! You absolutely have to try it if you're ever in the mood for something sweet.ly good, including the service and ambiance.

3 guys headed out for brunch, the bill came upto 2.3kishhh. Was it worth it? 100000%
Let’s talk about the ambience.
The seating area in the ground floor was 5/5. Open, cosy and aesthetic.
They also had upstairs but once you go down, you ain’t going back up 😂
How was the food?
German Pork Sausage Omlette - 4.5/5 (Soft, nicely cooked and tasty!)
The above was served Whole Wheat Bread
Bacon Bits Scrambled Egg Sour Dough - 4.5/5 (It tasted almost the same as above but differently presented)
Kheema Pao - 4.2/5 (My friends liked it more, I have had better. The additional 0.2 is for the haf fried egg as a layer on top)
The German Bakery Classic Club Everything Sandwich - 5/5 (Rarely rate a 5/5 but this was worth it, they served 4 parts and lucky me had 2)
Belgium Hot Chocolate - 4.5/5 (Rated by my friend)
Cappucino Coffee - 4/5 (Okaish)
Turkish Rose Shake - 4.2/5 (More like falooda served as a shake)
Great spot for breakfast, for brunch, for lunch, catchup with friends, date, etc.
Would 10/10 recommend visiting German Bakery when in Pune!

Edit: Updating my review to a well-deserved 5 stars.
We recently revisited this iconic spot and were reminded why it’s such a Pune staple. We tried the cottage cheese burger, peri-peri fries, and the farmhouse pizza, and honestly, the food exceeded our expectations. Everything was fresh and flavorful.
Beyond the food, the ambience is still amazing and has that classic vibe that makes you want to linger. It’s great to see a place maintain its quality over the years. Definitely a must-visit!
German Bakery is beyond iconic and truly adds to the grandeur of Pune. They have a vast menu, so you are bound to find something you love. We ordered the pizza, fries, pasta, and hot chocolate—all of which were amazing.
The only reason I’m not giving a well-deserved 5 stars is the smoking policy. I really hope management considers asking guests to smoke outside so the experience isn't dampened for others. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu soon!

I recently visited the iconic German Bakery in Pune, and it was a fantastic experience! The vibe is always spot on, but the food really stole the show this time.
I tried their chicken Burger, and it was exceptional. The bun was fresh and perfectly toasted, loaded with oats and seeds, giving it a great texture. The patty was juicy and flavorful, served with a side of crispy golden fries, a fresh salad, and a delicious creamy dip that tied everything together.
To wash it all down, I had their coolers, which were incredibly refreshing and the perfect companion to the meal. Everything was served fresh and tasted high-quality. Whether you're looking for a hearty meal or a chill spot for drinks, this place never disappoints.

Happy to share a bit more about my experience. The ambience was really warm and cozy, especially with the Christmas décor, which made the visit quite pleasant. Overall, all the delicacies we ordered were good. I had the fish and chips, herbed chicken fluffy omelette, and a virgin mojito, all of which were enjoyable.
We were seated upstairs, and the service was a bit slow—possibly due to the seasonal rush—but it’s something that could be improved. We also picked up baked desserts to take home: the banana walnut cake was good, the mawa cake had a nice taste though it felt a bit dry, the rum ball was yum, and the carrot cake was also good.
Overall, it was a nice experience, and I will surely visit again.

Visited German Bakery, Pune and it truly lived up to the hype. The ambience was cozy, vibrant, and perfect for a relaxed brunch or casual catch-up.
We tried a mix of sandwiches, burgers, fries, and beverages — and every dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The multigrain burger stood out with its hearty filling, fresh vegetables, and perfectly balanced sauces. The grilled sandwiches were equally impressive, packed with fresh ingredients and rich flavours. The crispy fries paired perfectly with the dips, making for a satisfying side.
The beverages complemented the meal well and added to the overall café experience. What made the visit even better was the attention to presentation and the warm café vibe
